Hello,

When attempting to use the one-sidebar-left.php block file - which I moved from inside the blocks/mainbody folder to the blocks folder - I cannot manage to place any modules in the sidebar position.

The module is named sidebar in the file.

I have created a module position for sidebar in the templateDetails.xml file.

Also, the module position sidebar does not register in the Template Details / Layout.

Any help in getting this to work would be appreciated.

Kind regards,
robjen

I am sorry, there was no actual document about this.
Though, those blocks will be load indirectly via blocks\mainbody.php or blocks\mainbody-content-left.php or blocks\mainbody-content-right
It is based on your webpage content.

Hi robjen,

You should use blocks\mainbody.php or blocks\mainbody-content-left.php or blocks\mainbody-content-right instead.

The one-sidebar-left.php is a sub block which require some parameter.
You must modify it before you can use it directly.

Regards

Hi Admin,

Thanks for the response.

Is there any information available that will explain what parameters and modifications are necessary in order to use one of those blocks.

Kind regards,
robjen
