Hi,

All of a sudden, I cannot save any of the changes I make to my T3 template in Template Manager. I cannot close the template manager either, I actually need to log out and log in again to the admin back-end.

The rest of Joomla is working fine. My site is up and working fine. The issue only seems to do with the T3 template.

What can I do? Help!

Hector

Hi Hector,

Please check again what the last action you do on your site?
Have you install new extension or modify something?

Please post your site url here and we will take a look.

You can also post your question on JoomlArt forum for better support.

Hi,

Thank you for your help.

The last two things I did before the "save" and "close" buttons stopped working were to add a css class in the megamenu (which I have now deleted) and to change the navigation of the megamenu (using the megamenu toolbox within T3 template manager). I didn't install any new extensions or modify anything else other than what I just described.

This morning I tried to see if the problem would go away by assigning a different menu to the site. But when I tried to revert to the modified blank T3 template, it wouldn't save the menu assignment to all the pages on the website, which means that now the website is not showing the T3 template anymore :(

The website I'm developing is http://www.barrylongtv.com . I will PM you the login details to the admin back-end.

Thanks,
Hector

Hi,

In case someone have this problem.

't3-megamenu' is a special class, you should not use it as an extra class in megamenu item.

This will cause error in megamenu configuration.

Thank you very much for fixing this, I greatly appreciate it.

I have a question, so I don't mess up the configuration again: I want to display a couple of buttons in the drop-down megamenu. (In my website http://www.barrylongtv.com, click on the first menu item "bltv". I want to show the submenu items "free trial" and "login" as buttons).

This is the CSS for the buttons:

.btn-dropdown-megamenu {
-moz-box-shadow:inset 0px 1px 0px 0px #97c4fe;
-webkit-box-shadow:inset 0px 1px 0px 0px #97c4fe;
box-shadow:inset 0px 1px 0px 0px #97c4fe;
background:-webkit-gradient( linear, left top, left bottom, color-stop(0.05, #3d94f6), color-stop(1, #1e62d0) );
background:-moz-linear-gradient( center top, #3d94f6 5%, #1e62d0 100% );
filter:progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient(startColorstr='#3d94f6', endColorstr='#1e62d0');
background-color:#3d94f6;
-moz-border-radius:6px;
-webkit-border-radius:6px;
border-radius:6px;
border:1px solid #337fed;
display:inline-block;
color:#ffffff;
font-family:inherited;
font-size:15px;
font-weight:bold;
padding:6px 24px;
text-decoration:none;
text-shadow:1px 1px 0px #1570cd;
}.btn-dropdown-megamenu:hover {
background:-webkit-gradient( linear, left top, left bottom, color-stop(0.05, #1e62d0), color-stop(1, #3d94f6) );
background:-moz-linear-gradient( center top, #1e62d0 5%, #3d94f6 100% );
filter:progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient(startColorstr='#1e62d0', endColorstr='#3d94f6');
background-color:#1e62d0;
}.btn-dropdown-megamenu:active {
position:relative;
top:1px;
}

Please can you confirm that...

1) I need to add this to the custom.css file, instead of megamenu.css

2) In the megamenu toolbox, add the class "btn-dropdown-megamenu" for each of these two submenu items?

Thanks,
Hector
