I can't see the lines in tables on my site even though the html says border = 1. I'm using Joomla 2.5 with ja-purity ii template. My website is http://www.stthomasburwood.org.au.
See http://http://www.stthomasburwood.org.au/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=86&Itemid=98
Can anyone help?

Hi,

I think I found the solution. in T3-assetts the css file css_486c2.css overrides the settings of the article. I found this after some investigation by using firebug. I then had to find the specific piece of code that controls the border settings. (warning there are two places, one for the overall table and one for the individual cell borders. the control for the cell borders needs to be set to [border: 1px solid none;] - without the none every frame gets a order of varying thicknesses.

It would be good if this didn't happen or if there were some simple way to force the article parameters to be followed.
