Once I go to Layouts, configure the modules the way I want and select 'Save as Copy' I get the dialog box. I enter a new name and save.

Everything seems to go OK, but I can't find that clone in the Layouts drop-down.

If I do this again, and use the same name as I used the first time, I get a message that the layout already exists!

I did notice that in the template files the cloned layout does exist here: [root]/templates/t3_bs3_blank/local/tpls

I am using Joomla 3.3.1 and Bootstrap 3 version of the Blank template. I have had the same problem with the Bootstrap 2 version as well.

Hi Chamira,

Please add the following code after the "}" from the last line of your configuration.php

define ('T3_LOCAL_DISABLED', 1);

Thank you for helping me.

I did as you suggested, cleared the browser cache and checked but I still can't see the cloned Layout.

Not only that, if I make any change and save my Global Configuration, the extra bit of code gets deleted.

Hi Chamira,

Please open the configuration.php file and delete the code:

define ('T3_LOCAL_DISABLED', 1);

Then try again. If it still does not work, please pm me your site url, admin account and ftp info. I will try to get fixed.

Gardner.

Thanks for your help.

I think the latest template & plugin update must have fixed this. I am able to see the local files on several of the sites where I had the problem before.
