Hi Arnold

You can add a new module position in the header block. The header block is above the mainanv block. The header.php file is located in "templates/t3_bs3_blank/tpls/blocks", to add new position, please refer to the documentation: http://t3-framework.org/documentation/bs3-layout-system#add-position

Hi,

Only home layout is the full-scale layout. Other layouts are boxed style layout. You can add background for any page by adding a class suffix for the menu item and add background style for the class suffix. Please refer to the discussion: http://t3-framework.org/discussions/add-a-background-image-to-entire-page.html
