i think that is the problem:

I don't using development mode and edit direct in css instead of less, and i don't using compile so that cause the issue ?

template: default t3 template
development mode : Yes

Please press 'Preview' button to after change something.

I know this post is old, but I'm very new at this t3 framework and I am encountering similar issue that the theme magic preview panel always show default theme color. It doesn't matter if I chose dark or red it always show default. I did turn on development mod when using theme magic. The preview will show change if I make change otherwise for instant if I choose dark theme to start changing it always show the default (blue look), I have not make any change to preloaded theme and I expect when I choose red theme it it show corresponding theme in preview panel. Please advise. Thanks

we've got the same problem. there is no preview, doesn't matter if i click on "preview" or not.
