Hello. I'm using T3 Framework in the following website:

http://www.test2.wama-sport.pl

I experience a very long Waiting for First Byte (TTFB) for the index.html document. It is always above 5 seconds which is obviously too long. I suspect that parsing the code takes that much time to produce the HTML document. Is there any way to reduce this?

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Marcin.

Hi,

I tested the site and everything from the site is fine, the performance of the site depends on the server, i think: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/820/0069977151.jpg

Hello,

Thank you for addressing this.

Despite a pretty high score on GTMetrix, the time to fetch the initial html document is very long. This is my main concern. I'm attaching the waterfall report from GTMetrix. As you can see, the first resource, namely 'http://www.test2.wama-sport.pl' takes 5.31 seconds to be loaded. Obviously, the user sees a blank screen during this time.

I know that this is not a problem with the server or even the Joomla application, since if I enter a non-existing page on my domain, for example 'http://www.test2.wama-sport.pl/test', the 404 page, which is a custom page from the Joomla template, is loaded almost instantly.

Regards,
Marcin.

Hi,

I think it could be server issue, I do a test on our t3 demo site and it does not have such issue: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/822/8129057165.jpg . Maybe you can contact the hosting provider to ask if they have any suggestion.

Regards.
