Hi I would like to know how I can do to add new custom fields in the contact form joomla.

I've been leyendon in joomla websites and forums but have not found the solution, because what they propose is making a hack to the component and that's not the idea.

I also know that there are many extensions to this. But I want to do it with a template modification, also is made with com_content and T3.

Any light orientaciono esti documentation is welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Alvaro,

The fields for contact form is managed by the com_contact then it required you to customize the com_contact and I am afraid this is out of our support scope as it's third party extension.

You're absolutely right. But creating a modification of com_contact in the template fields aneviarlos is created but not send, because it is controlled by a plain, unformatted that is not in the folder /views. So far so I could investigate and test. if someone wants to give support to achieve this, it is binevenido.

thank you very much

Yeah, but it's a third party extension and hacking code is something out of our support scope. Hope you can manage the stuff.

Good luck.

Gardner.
