I have used this tut http://multilingual-joomla-demo.cloudaccess.net/multi-lingual-steps-by-steps.html to make my multilanguage site. And everything all right with joomla menu, but with megamenu i got showing just one language, two other just disappear.

Can somebody help to find out problem?

joomla 3.1.5
t3 1.4.1

I can upload site to hosting if needed.

Hi Zeka,

First, make sure you set the menu type (name) of the default language is 'mainmenu' (or any name) and other menus should be name in format 'mainmenu_fr' (fr is the language code, you should replace it with 2 character of corresponding language).
Second, make sure you have set default page (should be the home menu item) for each menu (each language). I suppose you have did it.
Next, just open the megamenu configuration and save the menu configuration (even you do not change anything).

Select the 'mainmenu' in Menu dropdown of Navigation tab in Template Manager.

The second solution is that, you need to duplicate the template style. Assign each style to corresponding language.
Then each template style should target to correct menu in Menu dropdown.

Hope it works.

Hi Zeka,

First, you need to take a look at:
https://github.com/t3framework/t3/issues/135

After create the menu type (name) in format 'mainmenu_code'.
You need to set the default page (home menu item) for each menu (should be assign to coresponding language).

Then you need to follow:
https://github.com/t3framework/t3/issues/149
=> You should saved the configuration even you do not make any changes.

The last thing, you just open the template style, and select the 'mainmenu' in the menu dropdown of Navigation tab.

Hope it helps,

Regards

Since Joomla 3.2 the multilingual setup for the megamenu does not work anymore, neither in the Blank template nor in Purity III. I already reported that bug but no answer form the developers so far.

@ JA team: This discussion extension looks good but the functionality is way behind Kunena, just a hint ...
