Hello,

I'm working with the T3/BS3 install for the first time, and I noticed my custom.css wasn't being applied to the Custom HTML module I had made. On inspection with Firebug I noticed an extra space space in the class. So instead of reading

"t3-module module-rectangle"

Firebug is showing

"t3-module module-rectangle "

(see attached image)
Does the extra space at the end explain why my css isn't working? I am assuming there's an error in one of the joomla/T3 php files that's adding the space. Anyone have thoughts on which file it might be? I'll do some digging and post the solution if I can find it, You should keep an eye on your suffix if you're doing any Custom HTML module styling.

Thanks!

Hi Chris Bold,

Please open the Custom HTML module and check the class suffix again, you should remove the space character after the class and the problem will be fixed.

Hi Gardner thanks for the quick reply!

I already checked the suffixes on all my custom HTML modules before submitting my post, none of them contained extra spaces. However all of them are showing extra spaces when I check them with Firebug. :-/

Hi again,

Q: Does the extra space at the end explain why my css isn't working?
A: It's not issue or bug, the class you added still works properly. The space does not effect anything.

With that possibility eliminated, I did further experimenting and was finally able to isolate the proper css markup, and get the effect I need.

Clearly I still have some css mastery to learn. But that issue aside I'm absolutely loving T3 BS3 so far. Great work!

Thank you Gardner!!!
