Resolved Megamenu dropdown disappears

Hello !

I have added a dropdown with module "search". It works like this: In the menu there is field named Search, when u hover over it then module with search pops down as normal. Everything is fine, but when I click inside the text field to write what I want to search, after 2 sec the dropdown menu woth search module disappears.

I have no idea why.

I have checked your site. You uses 2 search module in megamenu, and they has same id. Please try to disable one search module.

Hello again,

I used the second search module after I found out it is disappearing, just for testing purposes, so it does not help if I have just one search module. Still the same.

i have same scenario, but i'm using login form instead of search, so when i click on field login or password drop down menu just disappears

any fix please???

Hi again,

I have checked the problem. The issue is a bug in T3. I have reported to development team and raise issue on Github also, you can check the status of the issue at: https://github.com/t3framework/t3/issues/341
The issue will be fixed in the upcoming release of T3 (could be end of this month).

The issue is fixed in github: https://github.com/t3framework/t3/commit/75443709bdca312472312f03fe9709d366f8e0a1
You can checkout the changes and apply directly for your site or wait till the new version is released and upgrade. It's your call.

Thank you very much! The solution works great. We take back the sites to the original configuration.
Unfortunately, we lost valuable time assuming that we had used more search modules...
