Based on Layout configuration video,
I can't load NEW CREATED LAYOUT after creating in backend at: Position & Responsive Configuration
Re-procedure:
Step 1: Select Purity III - Default from template manager
Step 2: At Position & Responsive Configuration area, select Default, Select "Save a copy", fill in: "Default Cloned"
Step 3: I re-config on default cloned.
Step 4: Press "Save" at the top-left page.

Reload page, and I can't get "Default cloned".
Thanks

Hi Aleks,

I have just replicated the issue in my local machine and it works properly. Could you please provide your Joomla version, Template and t3 version also. And please make sure the folder that contain layout files are writeable.

Gardner.

ohohoh, nonono

At "Position & Responsive Configuration", Select layout, and Delete. Then, Save page.
I reload page, and no-layout deleted?
Why?

@Aleks... it would have been great if you had explained what you did to overcome that problem. ;)

My issue is this... I follow the instructions to clone a layout in the back-end (save as copy and give unique name; in my case, I cloned home-1 and home-2).

However, the cloned layouts only shows up as .ini files in /t3_bs3_blank/local/etc/layout. I thought they were also supposed to appear as .php files in /t3_bs3_blank/tpls. Is there something I'm doing wrong, or not doing? I would really appreciate some help.

I'm using T3 v2.4.3 Framework and t3_bs3_blank v2.1.7 on Joomla! 3.3.6.

Many thanks in advance, I look forward to your reply.

Turns out I was looking in the wrong place... the cloned .php files are in /t3_bs3_blank/local/tpls. :D

I take it that now means I can perform framework and template updates without the worry of losing any of my amendments?

Just one more thing... I've copied the footer.php file to local/tpls/blocks and have started to modify as required... and it's working!:D
How do I disable the following line:
Joomla! is Free Software released under the GNU General Public License.

I look forward to your reply.

It's ok... found it. t3_bs3_blank/html/mod_footer/default.php
<small>php echo JText::_( 'MOD_FOOTER_LINE2' );</small>

Thanks again!
