Take a look : https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=www.t3-framework.org - "Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content
Your page has 5 blocking script resources and 6 blocking CSS resources. This causes a delay in rendering your page. " How can this be fixed? Even with css and js optimization turned on, the issue is still there.

Could you tell me in which file is the Java Script loaded? I'd like to try to add "async" to the script, hopefully it will not break the template.

I've tried to edit the cached version of index.php, moving the javascript in the footer, but it breaks the page...

You may generate the css for the above the fold content with SASS like https://www.sitelocity.com/critical-path-css-generator and place it into the head of the web page.
Check the link, there is enough info there.
