Hi,

I have just created a custom module position for a side menu on the left. I introduced in in the front end. But the problem is that the article text starting after the row where the side menu ends. Ideally it should be aligned to the right of the module position of the side menu.

Im running against a deadline. Would be very obliged with a detailed and prompt reply. (Im a newbie:))

Many thanks!!!

Hi Sanjay,

I am not sure which is the base template you develop on.
In T3 Blank, we have multiple layout (in tpls folder). If you chose default layout you will have 3 columns (dynamic) by default.
You can put those module to sidebar-1 and sidebar-2 position.

For default-content-left and default-content-right layouts, you will have two columns (sidebar-1 and sidebar-2 is populate to 1 column).
The home layout is a special one, it is only one column though (you should not use it if you want multiple columns).

Please check for maincontent.php block and other blocks for more information.

Regards
