Yeah, all the 3 steps are essential Alfredopacino, for each language, you need to create template style that is assigned to the language , select menu of the language to be displayed as your main menu and assign the template style to the menu items of the language.

It should be Template style, not template. And the number of template styles for second language depends on the number of template styles of default language. For example, I have a multilingual site (English and French). I have 2 template styles (Home and Default - for default language "English". Now I will duplicate the 2 template styles for French with same settings except for the following settings: Assignment, Default

my question was another, if i have 2 languages should i have 2 or 3 template copy?

the jomsocial support have fixed this issue for me, but i have the same site in local, it looks like i have the same settings and it doesnt work!
I'm a web developer, so don't worry, if you explain something i would get it , so please answer my questions (i have 2 language, italian and english):
- should i have 2 or 3 copy of t3 template? (t3_IT, t3_EN, t3_ALL)
- should i have 2 or 3 menus? if 3 menus should i set a default menu for all the language in one of those template copy?
- i need to click on 'save' in megamenu GUI for each access (guest, public, registered) and for each language?

honeslty i like t3-framework (basically i use only t3) but i always found the t3 multilanguage a little tricky..

ok, i just noticed i didnt solve anything.
It works fine just if i disable all the url rewrite/sef joomla options, if i activate those options i get broken links.

Yeah, I did, Alfredopacino. I see that all pages works properly. Even the pages you said it had problem

"--"iscritti" points to the jomsocial fronpage (it should be member list)
--"iscritti/foto" is broken"
