Hi all

I was having issues compiling in the theme area of template, not the complete compiler (that make sense??)
The general less compiler works fine

It was throwing up an error in the bootstrap/mixins.less file, line 47
I removed
// Sizing shortcuts
.size(@width; @height) {
width: @width;
height: @height;
}

It then threw an error in less/typography.less line 230:
I removed this line:
&:extend(.clearfix all); // Clear the floated `dt` if an empty `dd` is present

For now al seems to be good....

I have attached two images to demonstrate which compiler works fine and which one required me to delete some less code

Peace

Jon

Hi Jon,

To compile LESS to CSS for a specific theme, please open the template style that use the theme you want to compile, in the button "LESS to CSS", select the option "[Default] theme only". This option will compile LESS to CSS for the theme that the template style uses, not for all themes, please check the attach image.

P/S: How do you access the panel that is in the image "compiler throws an error.png". I did access the template manager but did not see any compile LESS button. Anyway, we don't recommend you to compile in that panel.

Gardner.

Hi

Thanks for your reply.
I was 97.76% sure I had done something wrong to create the error but I had a slight doubt because the other compiler worked fine.

It is strange that you do not see the 'compile less' button.
The compile gods have blessed me :)

I will do as you advise, thanks again

Jon
